A Preschool Grows in Goz Amer Refugee Camp

The Little Ripples pilot school has been open since early August. Only a few dozen children have been attending school because their families need to tend crops during the rainy season. The i-ACT team is excited to see how teachers and children are doing and to start another series of training.

Gabriel co-founded Stop Genocide Now in 2005, which gave birth to i-ACT in 2009. He became involved in the situation in Darfur out of a sense of personal responsibility. He believes the power of community and compassion, combined with personal empowerment, can bring about meaningful change.
